    1974 AMC American Motors Corporation Promotional Bell bottoms Size Large.. Condition is Used. I received this as a gift when I was 14 from my mothers boyfriend who was an AMC dealer in Kentucky. They came from the AMC new model show presenting the 1975 AMC models. Each dealer received one pair. They are made out of white lightweight denim material and have a drawstring tie. I wore these one time in the last 46 years. The tag says they are a large size. They are bell bottoms. 40 inches long from tip of pant leg to top of waist. They have a 29 inseam and are 26 inches wide at the ankle. They are 42 inches at the waist. They have spent most of their life sealed in plastic and in a cardboard box. The colors are bright the white is mostly clean with some areas around the waist band that is very slightly discolored. They have never been washed nor have I ever tampered with trying to clean the slight discolorations. Extremely presentable and quirky. This would be great for someone with a classic AMC vehicle for shows or as a prop in a classic car in a show. Or for an AMC collector who wants something truly unusual and different.
