Conta & Boehme Hand Painted Georgian Style Figural Grouping # 274 C. 1845 - 1891Nice Victorian era porcelain hand painted figurine grouping depicting a Colonial / Georgian lady, two women in Georgian dresses and a baby. All are wearing white wigs. The gentleman is a pink jacket with blue cuffs and gold gilt scrollwork designs. One of the women is wearing a blue gown with gold trim and a white underskirt with pink and gold flowers. She has a white and gold basket in her left hand. The other woman with the baby is wearing a maroon gown with green and gold trim and a blue and flower striped underskirt. There is a white urn with gold gilding and a tree stump with green leaves behind them. Has an incised Roman numeral VI and the number 274 on the base. Made by Conta & Boehme between 1845 and 1891.
Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
Measures approximately 5 7/8 inches wide x 5 1/4 inches tall.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
